Who We Are: We are so glad that you are thinking about worshiping with us. We hope you find our worship a time of celebration and worship uplifting, joyful and faith giving. Asbury was established in 1989 and has been recognized as a warm, friendly church family that eagerly welcomes and includes new individuals and families. We are a Christ-centered church with a warm heart, an open mind and a mission spirit. If you are looking for an active, lively church, get to know us and consider making Asbury your church home.

Come As You Are: Dress however you like. At Asbury you’ll see blue jeans and three-piece suits alike. We provide a nursery for children under the age of three. A children’s sermon is incorporated into the main worship service. There is a separate children’s church following the children’s message for ages 3 thru 2nd grade.

What We Offer: We have established strong traditions of dynamic worship, exciting youth ministry, lively children’s ministry, a growing music program, faith growth opportunities and numerous activities for people of all ages.

How We Share Our Gifts: Asbury has been actively involved in numerous mission projects since the church was established. According to Christian belief, we are responsible for helping our neighbors when they are in need. Today, in our global society, our neighbors can be across the street, the city, the state, the nation, or the globe. Members of Asbury, both young and not so young, have participated in many hands-on mission activities designed to assist our neighbors in need.

Certified Welcoming Congregation: Asbury is recognized by the Igniting Ministry division of the United Methodist Church as a Certified Welcoming Congregation. Igniting Ministry celebrates and recognizes the efforts of local congregations to prepare actively and intentionally to receive newcomers. By attending training events or by using Igniting Ministry resources, United Methodists can develop new hospitality skills to help bring people through their church doors and give them a reason to stay.
